I've never played piano before and am looking for a way to learn in a casual, self-directed manner through an app or online program. i bought a yamaha ypt260 and have been using the free trial on flowkey for about a week on my ipad. i like how user friendly it is, but didn't want to buy a subscription until i looked into other options first.. Im brand new in pianoplaying. ive been playing with the app simply piano now for 3 weeks. but for you guys who have played piano for some time. what are your toughts on those kinds of apps? what i find annoying about it is that sometimes when i know i hit the right chords it gives me faults. rarely on notes. how did you learn to play?.
